The River Club Music Hall presents “The Steve Sweeney Variety Show, A Night of Comedy and Music Friday November 15, 2019 at 8 pm.

Steve Sweeney is a Boston legend. Born in Charlestown,Ma. his New England humor and Bostonian mannerisms are his comedy trademarks. During the ‘70s’ Steve and a small group of upcoming Boston comedians combined their efforts at the Ding-Ho Chinese restaurant near Inman Square in Cambridge,Ma. Along with Steve Sweeney in this group were Jay Leno,Lenny Clarke,Bobcat Goldthwait,Kevin Meaney,Steven Wright.

With his famous Boston accent and great insight into human nature Steve is so thoroughly Bostonian that he merits his own stop on the MBTA Green line.
